Dear Trumfio Family: My parents Charlotte and Bud (Jerry) Greenberg became friends with Harry and Mary Ann many years ago, in the 1960's. Harry was a business friend of my dad's. My parents would periodically meet with the Trumfio's for dinner. They alternated in choosing the location as my parents lived on the far north side of Chicago, somewhat far from the Trumfios. My parents always enjoyed finding a place to share with the Trumfios for their dinner dates. Both of my parents have passed away, but I am writing to send my condolences to your family. I will never forget the kindness of the Trumfios to my father when he first loss his job and then had surgery for a benign brain tumor. Harry came to the hospital and offered Dad a job so he would not have to worry about supporting the family while he was recovering. It turned out that Dad never worked for Harry, but they remained friends and my parents treasured the relationship and enjoyed learning about the Trumfio family over the years. I seem to remember that Harry and Mary Ann met while working at the Cracker Jack Factory or some other connection to Cracker Jacks. (I hope this is the correct Trumfioo family.) Please accept my condolences - I know that my parents very much valued their relationship with the Trumfios and, if they were alive today, would have had many good memories of time spent with them.

Grandma,
Thank you for being the most supportive and wonderful grandmother a grandson could ask for. All those times when you would come by the house and make us lunch, letting us spend the night at the house. Pretty much just being the loving individual you have always been. I hope Tricia, Little Dom, and I do as good as a job as you did with Mom, Uncle Dom, and Uncle Harry.
I love You with all of my heart
Dominic (your grandson)

Bob & I were very surprised when Matt called to tell us that Grandma Trumfio had died. Dominic had called Matt early Friday AM with the bad news. I remember all the dinners Matt stayed to eat @ Grandma's house w/ Dominic. He always came home with the news that Grandma is such a good cook !!! Bob & I will always remember the last time we saw her -- Dominic's wedding. Now Grandma is cooking for the angels !! God bless you all & our sympathy on your loss of a truly special lady.

In memory of a very special mother and grandmother. I vividly remember the times I had spent with Dominic fishing at the pond in the back, and coming in to eat some of the best Italian food this good earth had to offer. Picking Dom and me up, and dropping us off on the summer afternoons in the coolest car on four wheels. Two little trouble-makers always greeted with a soft smile, stern warnings, and a lot of love. My condolences Jan, Art, Ken, Tony, and Dom. Trumfio family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

I just loved bowling with your Mom. She was a very neat person. I am happy she lead such a long and wonderful life. I know how proud she was of all her kids and grandchildren.

Dear Harry,
Please accept my condolences. Mary Ann was a sweet and giving person and I'm glad I had the opportunity to know her. Bowling with her on Thursday mornings was sometimes the highlight of my day. I have nothing but nice memories of coming to your house for lunch and also her great birthday party at Cafe la Cave where we gave her the "very fancy" bowling ball. Once again, I am grateful for having had the opportunity to know both of you.
Sincerely,
Pat Klug
