Skontos, cherished mother of the late George (Katherine) Skontos and Constance (Christ) Marinakis, devoted grandmother of Lea (John) Comet, Dean (Christine) Marinakis, Jana Marinakis, Maria (John) Livaditis, Zoe Skontos and Ionna Skontos, proud great-grandmother of Paul, Artemis, Christopher Comet, Katarina and Claire Livaditis, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews and friend to many. Visitation Saturday, 10 a.m., at Annunciation Cathedral, 1017 N. LaSalle, Chicago. Services to begin 11 a.m. Interment Memorial Park, Skokie, IL. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George Vergos. Info: 847-768-5800. Please omit flowers.
