I would like to express my condolences to Mary Ann's family and friends. She was truly one of a kind. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary Ann when I worked with her husband Tony, at Sharko's Restaurant in Villa Park. We all hung out together and developed a great friendship.
After Mary Ann and Tony moved to Lake of the Ozarks, MO, he helped me secure a job at The Lodge of the Four Seasons where he worked. Mary Ann and Tony treated me as family. On our days off, we would grill out at their home. My favorite part of the evening was after dinner. We would play cards and Mary Ann would play old records of The Bickersons and laugh ourselves silly, no matter how many times we had already listened to them. I used to visit Mary Ann at her job at The Arrowhead Lodge, where she was a bartender. She always had a joke , sarcastic comment, or some real characters to introduce me to.
After Mary Ann and Tony left Missouri, Tony and followed our boss to the East Coast and worked for Campbell,s Soup in their Mc Doogal's Restaurant chain. Tony was in New Jersey and I was in Philadelphia. They were living in New York state and I would drive up every few weeks to visit them. As I was about 15-20 years younger than Mary Ann and Tony, it was a comfort for me to have people that weren't even my family, watch out and care for me almost as parents would.
After we all moved back to the Chicago area, unfortunately because of my work, we didn't see each other as often. I will never forget how Mary Ann loved and cared for Tony during his battle with cancer. She was a champ.
I last spoke to Mary Ann about two years ago, as I live in Las Vegas now. She was full of jokes and made me laugh just like she always did. I was very fortunate to know Mary Ann and always appreciated her kindness towards me.

May you Rest In Peace!
My sincere sympathy and prayers to the Sinisgalli and Powers family as they mourn your loss. May they be comforted that you have joined our Lord God in heaven and that they will remember their moments that they have shared with you that brought them joy and love and happiness.
