Dave and family, we have heard too late of Mary's passing. What a wonderful person and our sincerest sympathies and prayers are with you.

Nancy and All, I just found out about Mary, and am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Lynn was an amazing person. I loved her very much and will miss her tremendously. I'm not sure that this gives me enough space to type all of my memories, but here goes.

She always called me "Angel" and to this day when someone calls me "Angel" I think "Aunt Lynnie".

When I was very little and would stay that night she would wake me up to potty so I wouldn't have an accident. When I would go pee she'd say "You peed a river." Now I say that to my Becca. I think of Aunt Lynnie every time Becca excited yells from the bathroom "Mommy, I peed a RIVER!"

Once we borrowed Aunt Lynn's vaccuum and I used it to suck up a bunch of toothpicks. I was 10 and very impressed that the vaccuum picked them all up. It wasn't 'til later that Aunt Lynn showed me that they punctured the vaccuum tube. Which is why I make the girls pick up so well before they vaccuum. ;)

I remember giggling at something Aunt Lynnie had told me and she said to my mom "Annie, I think she has my giggle." Mom agreed and still does.

When I lived in WI and would drive to MI for a visit I remember waiting to leave until Aunt Lynnie showed up to get one more hug before I drove away.

When I got married the first time Aunt Lynnie made my wedding dress. I drew a picture of what I wanted then sent her a similar patter and a similar skirt. I remember she was nervous because I lived in AZ and she was in MI, but I was very confident that she could do it. She did. It was beautiful!! Of course!

I was staying at Aunt Lynnie's house when I fell off a bike and had to have stitches behind my ear. Aunt Nancy and she took me to the hospital. Then out for "Purple" ice cream. My favorite color!

I will never forget the treat of a spoon full of peanut butter when I helped polish furniture with Pledge. I loved it!

I have so many more memories. I loved her pasta/tuna salad. Num! I loved her hugs.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sure she's looking down on her family now watching her grandchildren grow and smiling.

I will always remember Aunt Lynn's famous TACO SALAD and the love she put into it. She had a way that no one else has to make it just right. When I was younger and got bored she would keep me occupied for a LOOONG time with a couple of marbles and a bowl. I have used that trick on my kids as well. My love goes out to ya'll and I am glad that I made the trip up there to tell her that I love her and I am going to miss her.

Dear Dave, Girls, and Family:

I have great apprecition for where Mary Lynn is at this very moment and shall remain throughout eternity, and to imagine, the next we all see her again will never end! She certainly touched many and who couldn't have a special place in their heart for her? Always such a joy to be in her presence and I recall times I'd be in the hospital she'd just stop in to say hi and offer uplifting words, therefore I leave you with words God provided when my brother was PROMOTED TO GLORY two years ago: "IF NOT FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES OF THOSE THAT HAVE GONE BEFORE US, IMAGINE HOW EMPTY OUR LIVES WOULD BE TODAY."
