And then there was one. Mary was the second to the last of these strong and beautiful women to pass on. My mother, at 91, is the last to survive. Unfortunately we lost 4 of them in the past year. They were great role models for us growing up. As Kay said, their lives as well as ours were intertwined. I hope they continue to be for many years to come. Mary looked strong and physically healthy when I saw her several months ago, a tribute to the wonderful care she received from Kathy and her family.

I am so sorry to have missed the wake and funeral! Aunt Mary will always live in my memories, from my earliest memories of standing on the wooden chair in Rosario's and learning how to cook to the later memories of she and my mother explaining why they would not use Cathy's "emergency" cell phone when it was an emergency. She was the one who insisted I drive immediately after I got into my first accident and the one who came up with the solution for me to wear the dress I wanted to, to my prom. Jeff and I were both so saddened to hear of her passing but share in the joy of the knowledge that she is with Uncle Roy, her sister Agnes and my parents! The Club Girl picnics were so much work for all the aunties, hopefully they know how much that work meant to us all!

Over seventy years ago a group of young gals started a "club" and a friendship to last a lifetime. Little did they know how intertwined their life's memories of family, fun and love would touch the hearts of all who knew them. This past year has taken four of these terrific ladies. I was closest to Aunt Mary and her effervescent smile. So many fond memories of her will always stay cherished in my heart. I can still picture Aunt Mary standing at her kitchen table making Italian sausage .She always knew the right words to say with a gentle calmness no matter the situation. May you find comfort in knowing you are in my thoughts and prayers. The world is morning the loss of a wonderful classy lady. I can just see Minnie, Catherine& Irene welcoming Mary to heaven. The Les Jeunette's are reunited for their final outing in the palm of God's hands.

Somehow, life goes on but we'll have our memories! She was always the aunt we did not have on my mother's side. I can hear her laughing at me when she taught me how to dry a glass when we were washing dishes after dinner. She had come to take care of us when our mother was in the hospital. I know the LeJeunette's are watching over us all. I miss them all. Love to all,
