Mary Prince Obituary

North Sutton, NH-Mary Palmer (Wilson) Prince, 84, of Route 114, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at The Clough Center in New London where she had resided for the past two years. She was born in Wilmington, NC on Nov. 23, 1918 the daughter of McCulloch B. and Alma Kate (Peschau) Wilson. She was a LPN doing her training at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital in Washington, DC. Mrs. Prince also was employed at the Lahey Clinic in Boston and at the New London Hospital from 1974-1980. She lived in Easton, PA for 16 years before moving to Lexington, MA and then to North Sutton in 1974. Mrs. Prince was a member of The First Baptist Church of New London and is also a member of PEO. She enjoyed her flower garden, needlepoint, bridge, and golf. Members of her family surviving include her husband of 63 years, Roy W. Prince of North Sutton, NH; two sons, Douglas W. Prince of Sutton, NH and Alan W. Prince of Queensbury, NY; two grandchildren, Michael and Patricia; three great grandchildren; a brother, McCulloch B. Wilson, Jr. of Wilmington, NC; a half sister, Budd Hodgin of Sumter, SC; nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at The First Baptist Church of New London, NH with The Rev. Richard W. Dutton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Millwoods Cemetery, South Sutton, NH in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
