Mary Mozeleski Obituary

M ary J. Mozeleski, 82, from the Greenwood section of Moosic, died Sunday evening at the Community Medical Center, Scranton. Her husband, Francis M., preceded her in death on December 18, 2006.
Born in Greenwood, and a daughter of the late Alexander and Sophie Szczpkowski, she was a member of St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Lackawanna Pants Factory and Arlan’s Department Stores.
Surviving are two sons Joseph and wife Angela, Avoca; Thomas and wife Amber, Pittston; two daughters Mary Ann Wallace and husband James, Moosic; and Joan Konsavage and husband John, Jenkins Township; and seven grandchildren Jordan, Jeffrey, Katrina, Amy Rose, Christopher, Tyler and Allie Lynn; and a sister Lucy Kaczmarek.
She was preceded in death by three sisters Helen Malinowski; a twin sister Tessie Grzyboski; and Florence Witkowski; and a brother John Sepcoski.
The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Talipski Home for Funerals, 3401 Pittston Ave., Greenwood section of Moosic, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
