So sorry to have just now learned of Mary's passing. Prayers & condolences, from Anita and me, especially to Brian, Norene, Ann and Carol and to their families. My years spent with Bob and the above are among the best.Sadly, Jim Reilly died recently, so Bob and you all have been top of mind. Mary was truly beloved by all, and represented the best of a business I greatly enjoyed. What's more important:"Vita mutatur, non tollitur." Life is changed, not ended, as "Robert T" and all Jesuits well know.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary at Macfadden Publication's Chicago office. She managed numerous adsale representatives/support staff for both consumer and trade titles. I learned so much from Mary especially in how she treated people. She was a great sales person respected and liked by people in the ad community. Mary fostered an atmosphere in the office that was upbeat and productive. Her smile always lifted the spirits of us all. Heartfelt condolences to the Mahoney and Hurley families. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Paul Fleishman

Mary called on me when I was a Media Planner at DDB Needham and on that day we became fast friends! So beautiful inside and out! Her love, support, wit and friendship will be greatly missed! As many knew, Mary always lit up a room! Yet, it was when speaking about Mike's happenings, she was the most proud and made her beautiful smile all the more brilliant! Our many fun memories will always be with me for life!
Brian & Michael, you are in my prayers and I will be there for you guys! God Bless You All!
Mahoney, I thank you for our special, loving friendship! I am gonna miss you tons!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian, Mike and her entire family. We have known Mary for over 25 years. She had an infectious smile and amazing wit and a group of us called "Lunch Bunch" met once a month for over a dozen years. She was the life of every party and beloved by the advertising community and her friends. Mary was generous, kind, and the most devoted and loving mother on the planet Still cannot grasp that she is gone.

The loss of Mary is deeply saddening. She was beautiful inside and out and had a heart of gold. There was never a dull moment with Mary. Her quick wit could clear the air no matter what the situation was. I will miss our marathon phone chats and always treasure the memories of my cherished friend.
