My sister Dianne skipped right to dessert without mentioning what a fabulous cook our Aunt Mary was! That kapusta! Those mashed potatoes! Everything was always delicious.
I have to say that one of my outstanding memories of Aunt Mary was her beautiful complexion. I can picture her sitting at our kitchen table, just glowing.
My deepest sympathies to dear Uncle Gene, her wonderful husband, and to my cousins, Marilyn, Gene, Dan, and Maureen. We have childhood memories to treasure and for this we are all blessed.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's death, and I'm sorry that I can't be with the family for the funeral. My love to all of you.
One of my fond memories of Aunt Mary was her incredible baking. In particular she would bake doll cakes for joint birthday celebrations for my cousin Maureen, my twin sister Denise, and me. Our birthdays are right after New Year's and Aunt Mary and Mom always made sure that we were not forgotten after the Christmas/New Year's celebrations. Not only did this make it fun to be a little girl (a beautiful doll with a delicious, edible skirt!) but they taught me the importance of celebrations of good things, and the importance of remembering each other.
With thankful praise for having had Aunt Mary in my life,
