Mary Heaney Obituary
Heaney, Mary C. Mary C. Heaney R.N., June 20, 2008, beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Spencer) Tognotti, cousins, great-cousins and great great cousins survive. A loving friend of many. Alumnae of Maria St. Casimir Academy, also alumnae member of St. Anthony de Padua Hospital School of Nursing and a charter member of the APHA. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m., from Zimmerman and Sandeman Funeral Home, 5200 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, to St. Walter Church, 118th and South Western Ave., for Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary. Visitation Monday, 2 to 9 p.m. 708-424-0340.

Mary was my first supervisor when I entered the nursing profession in 1979. She was a wonderful mentor and I have sent her a Christmas card over all of the ensuing years. I am saddened by her death and hope that your family is doing fine without this thoughtful and considerate human being. My best to each of you!
