Though I did not know Mary Catherine personally, I have always felt that I did because of her Nashville family. All of you have done so much to help so many grow in Faith, in Hope and in Love. Mary Catherine will bring many many souls along with her as the years go by. Thank you all so much for this great gift. Another blessing from many generations of great hearts and souls.

I know that there are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so beloved. Mary Catherine touched many lives, and is deeply missed. May the God of all comfort be with you all during this time of intense grief, and always. (1 Cor 15:26) I'm very sorry for your loss.

When God calls little children
to dwell with Him above.
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of His love.
for no heartache compares with
the death of one small child,
who does so much to make our world
seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to His fold.
So He picks a rosebud
before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them
and so He takes but few,
to make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult
still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind know
will always be "Goodbye".
So when a child departs
we who are left behind,
must realize God loves children,

We will never forget Mary Catherine's many playdates with Samantha during their Greeley days. Mary Carherine's smiles were infectious. In fact, I don't think I ever saw Mary Catherine where she wasn't smiling. We were blessed to have known her.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. What a beautiful tribute in the paper. She seemed to have a wonderful passion for life and the theater even during her cancer fight. What a blessing that her very large loving family members can help each other heal.
