Fenoglio, Mary Phyllis beloved wife of the late Daniel, loving daughter of the late Charles and Nance Martin, dear sister of the late Winifred Dunton and the late Charles (Buddy) Martin, dearest aunt of Nancy Dunton, John (Maureen) Dunton, Phyllis Dunton, Marian (William) Hofherr, Jackie (Tom) Kramer, Wynne Dunton, Peter (Julie) Martin, Casey Martin and Kerry Martin, cherished great aunt to Brian, Catherine, Meghan Dunton, Sean, Trevor, Caitlin, and Mallory Hofherr, Tom, Jeff, Claire, Kevin, Molly, and Joe Kramer, and Chazz Martin. In addition to her family Aunt Phyl also had many loving friends. Aunt Phyls other great love was the United States Coast Guard. She served proudly in WWII. She was a SPAR and took part in nearly every event that was held from christening ships to speaking at the Art Institute on behalf of the SPARS contribution to "the greatest generation", She is a life member of the American Legion and is a member of Post #134. She also was an active member of the North Shore Senior Center where, in addition to other activities, she knitted a great number of hats for our wounded military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. Visitation Friday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview, IL, 60025. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
