John,Mrs. Arado, Debra and Ron, I just found out today that Mary Carol passed. I am shocked and so very sad and cannot imagine your sense of loss now and through the past several years. I worked with Mary Carol at Citibank in the mid 80's and we flew to Jamiaca together after bumping into each other at O'Hare when John's brother passed. I look at that chance meeting as a blessing to see that beautiful woman again and to have had the opportunity to spend a good part of that day together after many years. Mary Carol was a beauty inside and out...her smile, her voice, her great laugh and her grace easily come to mind when I think of her. We had dinner years ago in the City and someone on the street asked her for money. Mary Carol did not hesitate to give. Thank you, Mary Carol, for the kindness you always showed me and bless you, her family, now and always. I will pray for you.

My heartfelt condolences to the Arado family: I was fortunate to have met some of the Arado family members., Debra, Mary Carol, & Ron, who use to work at Citibank in the mid 1980's. I can still hear Mary Carol's voice over the phone greeting me with that sweet voice. I will never forget her, nor her family, who treated me with dignity & respect. I hope that in time you can all find inner peace & come to terms with this great loss. We all moved on with our lives & scattered to different locales, but, I do know that one day we will all meet in one gathering place, & once again meet with Mary Carol. I will keep the Arado family in my prayers.

To the Arado family,
I was very sorry to hear of Mary Carol's passing. Although I have not been in contact with her since our childhood when we were "across the alley neighbors", I have always thought of her warmly. I remember her and I playing together when we were very young, and also being classmates in our early years at St. Angela. We were blessed to have such nice neighbors on the 1400 block of Austin and Mason, and I was happy to have Mary Carol as a friend. The thoughts and prayers of my family and I are with you at this difficult time.
