Beloved husband of Loretta (nee Perry), loving father of Jo Ann (David) Wherry, Susan (James) Kosturik, Diane Scadron, Jill (William) Philmlee, cherished grandfather of Kathryn Wherry, Lindsey Robinson, David Kosturik, dear brother of the late Ben, Louis and Irv Scadron, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, close cousin of Clarice (Richard) Atlas Cutts. Graveside services Friday, 11 a.m., at Memorial Park Cemetery (Lakeside Sect.), 9900 Gross Point Road, Skokie, IL. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Lane Tech High School Scholarship Fund and Northwestern Memorial Hospice. My sincerest condolences to the family of Marv Scadron, upon the loss of this dear man. Though I did not know him too well, he seemed like the best husband a woman could ever have. We are particularly saddened for his dear wife Laura right now. Marv was also a man of principle and compassion. He was the epitome of quiet leadership. He will be greatly missed by friends and acquaintances.

Marvin was the quintessential gentleman. A loving husband, a loving father, a great friend to those of us who felt we were kindred spirits. I will always remember him as one of the hardest workers and one of the most cheerful people to be around even when things were bad. He was the perpetual optimist. I loved him dearly and will miss him.
