I miss my best friend.

Dear Doris and Mandy,

I was so saddened to learn of Marsha's passing. I know there are no words at this time that can give you the comfort you need. Memories of our families are very vivid and special for me. There's no friends like old friends.

I am so sad to learn of Marsha'a death.

Every childhood memory I have is linked to Marsha. My children even know the name "Marsha".

A persons oldest friends are the most treasured. I will always smile and feel warmth with my memories.

I just found out about Marsha's passing, and I was greatly saddened by the news.



It has been many years since I was last in touch with Marsha, as you know. But our early childhoods are forever linked by the closeness of our two families, growing up on Phillips Ave. in Chicago, and growing up in the Rodfei Zedek community at the same time.



On behalf of my mom, dad and Gary as well as myself, I send you our condolences and the wish that you will carry memories of Marsha's beautiful life forever in your hearts.

To Marsha's three wonderful children and all of her family of whom she spoke so much,



Marsha and I met through Temple Solel and became fast friends. We are both Marsha/Marcia Gail. She was always a loving, caring friend who reached out with concern frequently. Even in her last weekend, she emailed me to inquire how things were with me and to make plans to get together. That was Marsha--always thinking of others.

Her Havurah Yehudi are shocked and saddened by her sudden passing; she was such a part of us. We have two lovely pictures of our last Havurah evening-she is radiant surrounded by loving friends.

Her activism and positive direction inspired me personally. I will miss our visits and her beautiful voice. Most of all I will miss her friendship. Her many acts of lovingkindness are a blessing.

May the three of you know that she adored you all and was so proud of each of you.

I am so sadden by the news about Marsha that reached California this evening. I have sent a note to Mandy through Leslie Jacobs that I hope he receives. Please accept my deepest and sincerest condolences. Marsha was one of a kind...Sweet, kind, funny and with a laugh that I can still hear today that was so endearing. May your friends, family and of course G-d cradle you with Love.
