Donna: My heart bleeds for you and for your family. Mark was a wonderful person with a tremendous zest for living, getting the utmost out of every day while giving back to those around him. day. He was a good friend and generous mentor to Scott. Together, they seemed like they could take over the world with their combined energy, enthusiasm, joy, goodwill and passion. Take care of yourself and your three lovely young ladies and you and they are Mark's beautiful living legacy. God bless you.

As I mentioned at the wake, I can honestly say that in my lifetime I have only known a handful of people who, upon mention of their name, bring a smile to your face. Mark was one of those rare people, and we are all better for having known him. His love and passion for life and his family was endless. I pray that the love you all shared will bring you peace.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Mark's family and closest friends during this time of sorrow. I didn't know Mark very well, but had always admired his success when I worked at Morgan Stanley in the Riverwoods Office. May peace be with you.

I offer my deepest condolences to the Turek family. Mark could always make us laugh in an instant, yet also was happy to share his sagest guidance and counsel. While we struggle with the loss of such a loved, jubilant, and admirable person, let us not forget how fortunate we are to have known him. We will miss his magnanimous impact on so many lives. I can still hear him laughing about Justice's squirrel conquests...
May peace be with you.

Dear Donna and Family,
Even though I deal with death each day, I can not imagine how someone can be informed that your shared life is now over. My wife upon learning of this tragedy kept it to herself and had a restless sleep. She told me the next morning. I will continue to carry Mark in my heart with all the good memories that I had with him. He will live in the Oster Family forever. Our deepest sympathies to your family. If I can ever be of help to you with medical questions, you can continue to count on me to help. Having treated hundred of trauma victims, I know that Mark lost consciousness quickly and did not suffer. I don't want you to believe that he suffered. Many family members of accidents like this suffer from the thought that their loved ones last moments were in pain.
"Doctor Mike" as Mark would have put it.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mark's family during this difficult time. I can't stop thinking of Mark's laugh or terrific stories -- mostly about how much he loved his family. He will be so deeply missed at our office. I'll never forget how he reached out to me and offered his support when I began working in the Riverwoods office two years ago.
Mark was an unbelievable person - it was a blessing to know him.

My heart goes out to the Turek Family. I always loved talking with Mark around the office...he always had a smile on his face and such a positive attitude. I admired his hard work ethic, family life, and respected reputation. He made me laugh everyday as he was the only one who called me "Hurricane" every time I saw him.

Our family was deeply saddened by Mark's tragic accident. Mark was responsible for my son attending Harvard University. In my 5 years at Dean Witter in the late 80's and early 90's, Mark was always a considerate and wonderful person. May his memory always be a blessing to the family.

I am so saddened by the news of Mark's passing. I knew him since 1998 when i came to Riverwoods as a Financial Advisor. I had since moved on but always stopped by the office as part of my new job as a wholesaler. Mark always invited me in to stop and chat for a few. Olivia, you will always have your fathers great memories... Remember that and never loose the spirit you have always had, since i met you in the office years ago. My best memory is that Mark took me to the airport one day to look at his plane when i was a new broker, made me feel great. Thanks
