Allen, Marjorie B. (nee Burris), of Bolingbrook, beloved wife of 56 years to the late John A. Jr., loving mother of Julie (Greg) Gregor, Rick and Kevin (Lisa Favia), devoted grandmother of George and Elizabeth Gregor, dear daughter of the late Mannie and the late Eleanor Burris, the late Besse and the late Phil Blanchard, fond sister of the late Roberta Burris, dear sister-in-law of Phil and Sally Allen, Madelyn and Jim Todd and the late Kay Allen, fond cousin of Claire Kate, Jim and Kevin Hawken and Lucy Allen, dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Beloved friend of Dave Shannon and Paula and Christopher Taylor, loving friend to all she met. Memorial Mass for John and Margie 11 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2006, at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., LaGrange, IL, 60525. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The American Stroke Assn., appreciated. Mrs. Allen was in retail sales for Marshall Field & Co., a teacher, a flight attendant for American Airlines and a Volunteer for the American Cancer Society.
