Marion Robinson Obituary

Robinson, Marion Grace (nee Alexander) Age 91, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2014, at Presence Hospital, surrounded by her family. Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Delyn Robinson; her dear parents, Irving C. and Lillian J. Alexander; and her brother, James I. (the late Bernadine) Alexander. Marion was the devoted sister of Jeanne F. (the late Marco V.) Maggio of Glenwood, Illinois; and the loving aunt of Barbara (James) Bruno, James (the late Beth) Alexander, Diane (Richard) Warburton; Richard (Leah) Alexander, Michael Maggio, Timothy Maggio, and Thomas (Lucretia) Maggio. Several grandnieces and nephews also survive Marion. Marion worked at Fred Harvey Company and then at AmFac. Marion often shared her fond memories of these years, and the close friends she made, with her nieces and nephews. Born in Chicago, Marion's work took her to Honolulu, Los Angeles and San Mateo, where she made many dear friends, before returning to live in Romeoville, Illinois, since 2003. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Andrew Church, Romeoville would be appreciated. Marion will Lie in State Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, 505 Kingston Dr., Romeoville, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip. Marion was like an Aunt to me and my Wife.
She was friends with my Mom and Dad Rosemarie and Dwight Hightower, they met in Hi.
We kept in touch every year by Christmas Cards and Letters. We know She is with Our Lord.
