Mary,

We always looked forward to Sunday mornings and your arrival in the Sunday school class because we new Marion would have some humorous words of wisdom for all of us. That mischievous grin, his uncanny wit and sincere friendliness will always be treasured. We have some wonderful memories that will be cherished forever in our hearts.

Dear Mrs. Askins,

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to you in the recent loss of your beloved husband and the father of your children. I know Mr. Askins must have been a very fine man because your son, Bob, is my immediate boss at the University and he is one of the finest gentleman that I know; he is also a wonderful father as I am sure his own father was his example.

May God bless you & your loved ones, and I pray that His peace will be with you!

Most sincerely, Emily Knight

Thanks Mr. Askins for all you did for me as a child, you gave me ny best friend Bob with whom I had some great times. You were always there for us as kids. you would let me stay at your home, and would bring Bob to my house. Once I was on a date and my batterery in my car went out, I walked five blocks to your house at 10 pm and you carried me back to the car, jumped it and got us going again, never saying one harsh word about helping. I could go on for ever. Thanks for being there for me...and thanks for Bob.....

God Bless your family...
