MARIO WAS A GREAT FRIEND TO ME AS A SOCCER COACH...HE WAS ALLWAYS SMILING AND GREETING HIS STUDENTS AND MYSELF. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM FOR HIS FRIENDSHIP AND EVERYTHING THAT HE HAS DONE FOR OUR COLLEGE AND HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY OUTSIDE THE COLLEGE.

I was so very sorry to read about Mario's passing. I ran into him not too long ago at COD and said hello.
May your happy memories bring you great comfort and peace during the difficult times ahead.

Tory,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I lost my father in April and know that there is never a "right" time, but we will be able to cherish the time we had with them forever. Be well and God bless.
Sincerely,
Mary (Horan) Seavey

I and my family - mostly my brother Edward - knew Mario from his dad's business at Grand and LeClaire over many decades. Mario always made a point of saying hello, and would ask about my brother. He did this from 1961 to the time your family sold the business in about 1990. In all that time, I knew Mario had an occupation separate from that Store, but didn't know what it was.
