My beloved Tata Jun, truly I considered you as my second Dad. You made us feel that you are close to us even you are thousand miles away. You always want us to have a good life just like you. When Justin and I talked to you on Oct 13, 2010, we never thought it would be the last time we will hear your voice. I am thankful that my wish to see you one last time was granted, to tell you how much you meant to me. We will always know that you’ll be looking down on us keeping us safe making sure everything goes ok in our lives. You will be missed every single day. May the angels in heaven lead you to Paradise to join our Creator. Rest in Peace, Tata Jun. You know how much we love you.

Dearest Tiya Fely, I salute you! Thank you for the love and care that you gave to my uncle through the years. We know that everything will be ok in God’s grace. You are always in our prayers. We love you!

My dear cousins Faye, Perry, John, and Michelle and their families, you are all great! Keep the love, respect and care for each other. We love you all!

I have known the Lagatuz family for almost twenty years. Previous gatherings were precious and joyful. It was a blessing to be welcomed by their family.

Uncle Jun was caring and had a warm smile.

At his wake, with so much strength, you all shared wonderful memories about Uncle Jun and that he will never be forgotten.

Love,
Tonette

Dear Fely,

Our deepest sympathy and prayers(with our batchmates Manolo, Alma, Lita and Ernie)for the eternal repose of your husband, Jun's soul. We learned of you and Jun's health concerns when we had our get together at Juliet's place in Kensington, the same unit where you were in Feb, 2009. Since then I have included both of you in my daily petitions/intentions and truly saddened when I got the email of Juliet/Odette/Anicia and Myrna re demise of your husband. I will continue praying for your health and long life and healing of all sorrows and loneliness in your family. God bless all of you!
Love and prayers,

Dear Fely,
I never met your husband, but I can tell that you have had happy memorable and blissful years with him when I saw you for the first time after 51 years. You exude life of satisfaction and contentment. Your joyous attitude is very contagious and invigorating... giving me the feeling that time gone by was just some hours ago.

Marino has gone ahead to wait for us in heaven. Then we'll have a GRAND REUNION!!!
I love you.

Dear Fely

My love and condolences from the old country. Aning shared with us how brave you have been, keeping your sense of humor intact in the face of adversity and loss. That's the Fely I knew from high school! I know that you know that there is really no death .. and especially that love does not die. How can someone you love die when you keep him/her in your heart?

There is little I can do but to pray, pray, pray ...

Dearest Fel,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We were overcome with deep emotions when we saw our pictures with Jun last February 2009 in our 50th THS59ers reunion. He was full of life and must have tremendously enjoyed himself during the occasion. Remember his comment then? He said, he will join us in the next reunion even if you, yourself won't go! May your fond memories together comfort you and may the consolation of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family. We love you, Fel! God bless, Chit and Dolly

Dear Fely, The outpour and flow of friends and families who were at the wake showed how much Jun was loved and will be missed by many. The presentations and the eulogies couldn't be more fitting. Daddy,
We will miss the laughter, jokes, the "sermons",the "kalbit kalbit",your cooking, seeing you inhale your food, the way you dress( the sharpest dress man in the mid-west),the way you laugh, you cutting hair, and all the "Marino"isms>.
