Mills, Marilyn (nee Hoffman), age 81, of Chicago, beloved wife of Alan, loving mother of Orah Gottesman EDD., Danah Melcher, Micah (Carol) Aronson and Dan Aronson, fond grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of five, dear sister of Arlene (Charles) Klinenberg and Jerry (Sharon) Hoffman DDS, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Service Monday, 11 a.m. at Beth Emet The Free Synagogue, 1224 Dempster St. Evanston. Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers memorials, in her honor, to Midwest Hospice 2050 Claire Court Glenview, IL 60025 or the Alzheimer's Association National Office 225 No. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601 appreciated. As friends from Highschool , college, while raising "kids" and teaching, Lynn and I had a long friendship.We did lose touch but Arlene kept me informed when that awfull illness attacked. I know how devoted you all were. She is finally at rest and I extend my sympathy to all.

It is difficult to lose someone to Alzheimer's Disease, because it is almost liking losing them twice. Grandma Marylin will always be in our thoughts and she has made a great impact on our lives!
