I find myself thinking a lot about Marilyn lately, and missing her unique view of the world. I was fortunate enough to have her make me a beatiful shrug, which is perfect for this Fall weather. When I pulled it out, I was again amazed by the wonderful colors she had used, and the exquisite design and craftsmanship. I thought that I should somehow preserve it, and put it away. I just wanted to try it on once before I put it away again. When I pulled it on, I was wrapped in it's warmth and a flood of wonderful memories came back to me of a friend that I miss dearly. I couldn't bear to put it away, so I have chosen to wear the shrug and cherish the memories that it brings. You are always in my thoughts my friend.
