Marilyn Claffy Obituary

Claffy, Marilyn C. (nee Witasek), age 62, late of Lockport, Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Silver Cross Hospital, Joliet. Born in Chicago in the Back of the Yards, "stockyard neighborhood", and lived in Burbank for 30 years before moving to Lockport in 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marie (Grzenia) Witasek. Marilyn was the beloved wife to Lawrence "Butch" Claffy and loving mother to Donna Claffy. She is also survived by one sister, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the O'Neil Funeral Home, 1105 E. 9th St. (159th St.), Lockport, with funeral services immediately following at 7:00 p.m., with Deacon Rob Weierman officiating.
