Ancell, Marilyn 89, beloved wife of the late Abe; loving mother of Gail Fisher, Barry (Jo) Ancell and Cindy (Bruce) Rosenberg; cherished Mimi of Jon (Susan) and Amy Ballis, Kate and Abby Ancell, and Jordan Rosenberg and great-grandmother of Izzy, Tess and Will Ballis; dear sister of Gertrude (the late William) Gozansky and Eleanor (the late Myron) Goldberg and the late Sonny (Jeri) Evans, Jerry (the late Adele) Epstein, Phillip (Gloria) Epstein; adored aunt of many. Chapel service today at 2 p.m., at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Dear Barry (and Jo),
I recently read of the passing of your mother. Please accept my condolences. I too recently became an ‘orphan’ and it is a strange feeling being at the top of the ancestry tree. Barry, I remember we were friends back in school, Clinton and Mather. The years certainly pass quickly. God bless.
