Dear Frank & Family,

I cannot begin to tell you how heartbroken we are the loss of Marie. We are still unable to believe that this has happened. We apologize that we were out of town and could not attend the services but we have thought and prayed for her and all of you at this sorrowful time. From day one Frank, when you introduced her to the family, she just naturally fit in and became so dear and loved by all of us. She always had a smile, or a nice thing to say and never judged anybody, she was always so accepting and easy to be around. Her family meant everything to her! It is apparent that her legacy will live on because each of you carries a part of her which is so evident by the kind of family you are - I know that you will continue to make her proud. Knowing and loving Marie was truly a gift that we will treasure and remember always.

Love,

Debbie, Wayne, Greg & Peter Mares

Dear Frank and Family,

My condolences to all for your great loss.

Oftentimes I would choose White Hen for something because it was faster only to spend an enjoyable half hour chatting with Marie. I will certainly miss those quick shopping trips.

A donation will be sent in Maries name to the Little Brothers of the Poor.

Dear Frank and Family,

Marie, always so kind and thoughtful. Marie was always about doing the "right" thing and was a walking example of everything I miss about Chicago. She was a true friend to me, warm and bright. My deepest sympathies to you and your family Franky, I will miss her.

I am so very sorry for your loss. “Aunt” Marie was a wonderful person who made everybody feel special. I am grateful to have known her for 18 years, and cherish all of those great memories that we have had together. I was so glad that she was there for my family and I when we lost our father. I am truly sorry that I can now not return the favor to Uncle Frank and the kids. I truly miss all of you and will make sure I see you when I come home next. You all are in my prayers and if you need anything, PLEASE feel free to call me and I will do what ever I can.

We knew Marie through Downers Grove Youth Baseball. We had four sons but she knew Steve the most and would always ask about him when we would see her at White Hen buying her lottery tickets. We lost a son Scott on June 10th after a long battle with cancer and saw her at Jewel about two weeks later. She gave her condolences. We know she's in a better place and offer our deepest sympathy at this most difficult time. We will keep you in our prayers. As Scott would say "live each day to the fullest as none of us is guaranteed tomorrow". GOD BLESS!
