Maribeth Kasik Obituary
Dr. Maribeth Montgomery Kasik, age 73, passed away November 19, 2025. Mother of Jamie (Robert) Wasowski and grandmother of Alexandra, Elise, and Liliana. Daughter of the late Leland and Esther (née McCambridge). Sister of Thomas (Shirley), Lynn (the late Margaret), and Lizabeth (Laura) Montgomery; aunt of Grace. Dr. Kasik was devoted to her teaching career at Governor's State University. She was an active member and Elder of Morgan Park Presbyterian Church. Visitation is November 26, 2025, from 4–8 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Private interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. A memorial service will be December 20, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Morgan Park Presbyterian Church, 2017 W. 110th Pl., Chicago.
