Dear John,
It was with deep sadness that Ken & I learned of Marianne's awful illness and subsequent death. My memory of Marianne is of how beautiful she was as a teen-ager. She looked like Doris Day! I'm dating myself. And I so wished I could swim like she did. She was always very kind to me when I came pestering Peg and Patty (my sister).
I know how close the two of you were, and my prayers are with you as you go through your grieving. Sympathies to Peg, Jim, Lori and Eric also.

Love,
Mary Beth (O'Brien) Tichacek
