Dear Jim:
I'm so sorry you lost Marianne.your pretty "big sister" and lifelong friend.
She was a lovely , gentle lady. I have such fond memories of her, you and your mom and dad. Throughout my life, I've run into countless former students who thought the world of her.
Echoing someone else...please take care of yourself and hope you are enjoying your work in Mexico.
Fondly,
Your cousin, Eileen Duignan-Woods

Dear Jim - The Quinn family sends their love and prayers for Marianne and you. We are sorry for your loss. I buried a five day old baby several years ago. His five year old brother said, on finding out that some babies die in the womb on the day they are born, said to his mom: "weren't we lucky-we had Conner for five days. You were lucky to have had Marianne as your sister for your lifetime. 'Death makes life urgent for love.' Marianne's death reminds us all that everyday is gift, that is why we call today the 'present'. I remembered her, your parents and you at Mass this morning. May God hold her in the palm of His loving hand.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. I taught Mathematics at CVS from 1961 through 1970 and have very fine memories of Marianne. May you be blessed with good health, peace, joy, love and happiness so you may remember the beautiful moments you shared with your sister/friend. May her memory be eternal & may God grant her peace in His Kingdom.
