Marian Dove, age 83, died on April 13, 2010, of natural causes.


Marian was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Mary and Andrew Danko on May 9, 1926. She graduated with honors from Lincoln High School in Tacoma. After graduation, Marian started working at Mallon Motors where she worked until she married.


Marian married Ken Dove on August 21, 1948, in Tacoma Washington. In 1970, Marian became the bookkeeper for Kennewick Disposal until 1974 when they sold the business.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenny and her daughter Mary.


Marian is survived by son Tom and wife Lee Ann Dove of Gig Harbor; son Tim and wife Joan Dove of Burbank; daughter Susan and husband Eddie Alves of Dayton; daughter Sally and husband Bob Merk of Pasco; grandchildren, Josh, Noah, Bria, Mike, Jake, Amy and Brandon Miller, Kelly and Eric Ehrhardt, Tim, Geri, Mindy, Marcus, Catherine, Rie, Christina, Travis, Sam, Randy and Jenny.


The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Fleur de lis, House 1, staff and owners for their extraordinary care and affection to mom for the time that she lived with them. We would also like to thank Hospice at the Chaplaincy for all the support given during this past week.


Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on the corner of 10th and Union, Kennewick.
