Slattery, Margaret "Peggy" (nee Curtin) Age 81, native of Ashford, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Loving wife of 47 years to the late Cornelius "Brendan" Slattery of Causeway, Co. Kerry, Ireland; beloved mother of five children, Mary (Brad) Roth, Brian (Julie) Slattery, Brenda (Frank) DeVitto, Deirdre (Kevin) Kassay and Neil (Michele) Slattery; adored by her 10 grandchildren, Brian and Caroline Roth, Michael and Megan Slattery, Brendan and Kayla DeVitto, Margaret and Andrew Kassay and Nolan and Ryan Slattery. Peggy was one of 11 children of the late Patrick and Margaret (nee Jordan) Curtin of Ashford, Co. Limerick, Ireland. Sister of Ita (late Michael) Mullane, Patrick Curtin, Breda (late Sean) Begley, and James (Eileen) Curtin, also the late Kathleen Kelly, late Sean Curtin, late Michael Curtin, late Donal Curtin, late Joseph Curtin and late Noeleen Leahy all of Ireland; sister-in-law of Mary (Thomas Joseph) O'Carroll, Jerry Slattery, Bridget (Patrick) Murphy, John (Ann) Slattery and the late Peg (late Tom) Conway all of Ireland and Chicago. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Ireland and U.S. Proud lifelong member of Kerry Association of Chicago and Charter Member of Chicago Gaelic Park.
