Margaret Chizuru Oda Age 87, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at home. Beloved wife of the late Hiromi Oda, loving mother of daughter Lynn Oda and son Robert Oda, dear sister Jun Dairiki and brother-in-law Jack Dairiki. Adored aunt and cousin of many including Michael Kudo, Michael Kudo Jr., Keiko Kudo, Teri Takamoto, Jean and Michael Imanaka, Joshua Morales, Cuyler Ota and Rosana Kudo. Private service on Monday July 20, 2009 at Lakeview Funeral Home 1458 W. Belmont Chicago, IL 60657. Donations to Japanese American Service Committee - 4427 N. Clark Chicago, IL 60640.

I have known Lynn and her Mom since 1976 when Lynn and I worked together at Allstate. Mrs. Oda was a lovely woman and I will miss her. Everytime I think of the last time I saw her I smile. Thinking of you and your family. Barbara and Scott Silz
