Margaret L Ball McCombs ascended into my life as a brilliant, intelligent, caring social worker to save a little girl of eleven from the weight of burdens a child shouldn´t have to carry. I love her so much, that thought of her and vision of her luminous being brings tears to my eyes. In gratitude, love, and honor of our sharing, entwined experiences in all things cultural, musical, historical, literary, I submit this tribute to both she and Uncle Mac. My hearts forever
They are with us forever, say their names!

What a loving, gentle, yet powerful woman we all just lost. My sympathies to Mac, Toby, Stephanie, and Lindsay. Margaret's brilliance, generosity, and humor brightened our childhood when she was with us. Margaret, you used to call me "Cat Lady", as I always brought you the nearest family cat as I thought then that it was the greatest gift a little girl could bring someone she loved so much. Well, I loved you then as I love you now and will miss you so very much. With all my heart, Roni
