Margaret "Peggy" Gustafson, 75, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025.

Peggy was the loving wife of Patrick Gustafson. Loving sister to the late William "Bill" (the late Anita) Degnan, Patricia (the late Tom) DiSilvio, Judy DeAngelo (Tom Lukaszewski), Tom (Diane) Degnan, Dorrie (the late Mike) Pecak, Katie (the late David) Rodwell, Laura (the late Mike) Garrity, Mary (Tom) Neal, Michael (Sheila) Degnan, Daniel (Mary Ann) Degnan, Monica (Steve) Hobler, and Matthew Degnan.

Cherished mother of the late Timothy (Kasia) Kast, Patricia (Larry) Kerr, Daniel (Linda) Kast, Charles (Jessica) Kast, Brion (Rebecca) Gustafson. Devoted Grandmother to Kayla Horne, Melina Kast, Billie Margo Kast and Lynnea. Fond aunt of about 100 nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Loving Best Friend of Kelly Lewison.

Peggy enjoyed needlepoint, watching Godzilla Movies, loved Raymond Burr anything, took Wisconsin vacations, drank Bloody Marys, and was a huge Willie Nelson fan. She saw the Beatles both times they played in Chicago in the 60's! Peggy was a dedicated Registered Nurse at Swedish Covenant Hospital and acted as the main contact for her brothers and sisters for all of their medical concerns. Mother of 5 wonderful children. A Grand Lady if there ever was one.
