Dear Ciao Family: Our mothers had been best friends since grade school and still kept in touch regularly. Margie was also my godmother and I always treasured that. It has been a lot of years since I've seen any of you but was very thankful to talk to Marilyn. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. This news would truly break my mother's heart. She will miss not talking to her, but will cherish the card she just received from her. I couldn't have picked a better godmother if I did it myself, and I will grieve knowing she is no longer there.
