He graduated high school & I wish you could have been there... you would be so proud of him. I wish he could have his own memories of you & not the memories I talk to him about. It's been 14 yrs. but I still miss you so much. Please always watch over him & your other grandbabies. Love you.

Always thinking of you, my dearest loving sister. And just to share with you the memories of you, and most precious is that the kids you left behind really show the love that you left for us all to share. See you when I get there.

Mom,

Four years ago today you told me he was the most beautiful baby you had ever seen (something I'm sure you said about each of our babies and all seven of us). Today was the first time that he didn't see or hear from you and it breaks my heart to know that there will be no more calls from Ama to him (or me). You said we would be okay, but you didn't say when or how this will happen. It seems like it's getting harder not easier, but I guess that's what happens when you lose one of the greatest loves of your life. Love you forever.

"After a while you learn the subtle difference

Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning

And company doesn't mean security,

And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts

And presents aren't promises,

And you begin to accept your defeats

With your head up and your eyes open

With the grace of a women, not the grief of a child

And you learn to build all your roads on today

Because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans.

And futures have a way of falling down in midflight.

After a while you learn

That even sunshine burns if you get too much.

So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,

Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure...

That you really are strong.

And you really do have worth.

And you learn and learn...

With every goodbye you learn"

Happy Mothers Day my sweet teacher. Know that you are loved and always in our minds.

In tears we saw you sinking,

And watched you pass away.

Our hearts were almost broken,

We wanted you to stay.

But when we saw you sleeping,

So peaceful, free from pain,

How could we wish you back with us,

To suffer that again.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you,

The day God took you home.

If Roses grow in Heaven,

Lord please pick a bunch for me,

Place them in my Mother's arms

and tell her they're from me.

Tell her I Love Her and Miss Her,

and when she turns to smile,

place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,

I do it every day,

but there's an ache within my heart

that will never go away.

Don't think of her as gone away

Her journey's just begun

Life holds so many facets

This earth is only one

Just think of her as resting

From the sorrows and the tears

In a place of warmth and comfort

Where there are no days and years

Think how she must be wishing

That we could know, today

Now nothing but our sadness

Can really pass away

And think of her as living

In the hearts of those she touched

For nothing loved is ever lost

And she is loved so very much.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

WE LOVE YOU &

MISS YOU SO VERY

MUCH!!

Aunt Carmen,

Though we lived miles apart, I've never forgotten what a beautiful person you were. You are truly an inspiration to me as a woman and mother. I am truly blessed to have had you as an aunt and in my life.

DEAR AUNTY CARMEN:

May you rest in peace and sleep with the angels, I'm not saying good bye but see you when I get there. Give Grandpa a huge kiss and my love and let him know I send him thanx for being there to guide me through each day. My prayers are with you. One thing that I will always remember about my Aunty Carmen is how strong she was and still is. No matter what she kept going. "Daughter like Father." The last time I seen Carmen she was knitting a quilt and thats how I remeber her, always keeping busy. And Oh how I loved her quilts. To the rest of the Family. I love you, my prayers are with you and I wanted to be there so bad and I'm pretty sure my father explained why I couldn't of been there. Love you! Bye Bye.
