Mesa, Manuel J. Age 55. Of the East Side. Passed away peacefully on May 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Georgina "Nina" Mesa for 29 years; loving father of Valida Najera, Marissa and Manny Mesa; cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Jerimiah, Mason, Jayden, and Mia; dearest son of Esperanza Mesa and the late Adalberto Ortiz; dear brother of Raymond Mesa, Lucy Villa, Luis Mesa, and Bricia Arambula; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Manuel loved to vacation with his family but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation Monday, May 7, 2018 from 2:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago to Church of the Annunciata.
