Mammie was a mentor to me as a teenager. I fell in love with Mammies Mother Fannie who loved cooking for her family. A taught me how to cook much better. Mamie taught me how important education was and to strive for more. I chose the field of Insurance because of her. She was the first black vice president at Blue Cross Blue Shield in the 70's. She already had her Batchelor's but soon got he masters. Very impressive woman. She will be missed.

I know this message is late, but nonetheless sincere. I have fond memories of Mamie as a little girl, we went to the same bookstudy. I remember her so pretty and loving. Dori gave me my first modeling job for Sears.... I look forward to seeing Mamie and sister Wilson in paradise.

My Dearest Mamie, I cannot stop crying.....You were such a beautiful person inside and out. Your kindness brought us together for decade-long friendship. You never leave me--you always live in my mind and heart. I love you, Mamie!

My beloved "mighty mouse". I think of you often and my nickname for you comes to mind. The nickname Mighty mouse was so appropriate for you as you saved the day for so many. " Here I come to save the day" was the theme of the song played at the beginning of the show. You were big at heart and had a smile that came very easily.

If Jehovah wills, will see you in paradise where we will never HAVE to part. Bettie (aka Boozer)

Dear Family and Friends of Mamie, I adored Mamie and I enjoyed our times together. I shall miss her love, her kindness and her generous nature. My heart is heavy, but I am confident that she loved Jehovah God Almighty and our redeemer Christ Jesus and they love her. I look forward to see Mamie in the resurrection, and then we will have the opportunity to live in Jehovah's Kingdom forever. So much love, Barbie
