Raphael, Malvene born March 4, 1908 in Chicago, died April 13, 2002, beloved wife for 71 years of Dr. Theodore Raphael, dearest mother of Judith Raphael (Tony Phillips), Susan Duarte Berry (Tom Berry) and Diana (Dan) Lauber, dear grandmother of Leslie and Alex Gordon, Gabriel Duarte, Christopher and Matthew Wienke, great-grandmother of Alana and Austin, loving sister of Evelyn Newman and the lat Emil Pollak. Mrs. Raphael attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; taught in Chicago public and parochial schools as well as special workshops at Fort Sheridan, IL. Member of the Park Ridge Art League exhibiting her work locally. Funeral services Wednesday, 1 p.m. at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
