Malachy K. " Mal " Byrne, 53, beloved husband of Mary, nee Taylor, loving father of Malachy, Sheila and Eileen. Devoted son of Bridget and the late Michael Byrne. Dearest son-in-law of Eileen and the late Lt. Robert Taylor. Fond brother of Cathy (Pat) McDonough, Billy (Mary) Byrne, Michael Byrne ( Lori San Pietro) and Noreen O'Grady. Dear brother-in-law of Michael (Linda) Taylor and Mark (Brenda) Taylor. Uncle, cousin and friend of many. Visitation Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Lying in State from 10:30 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:30 am, at St. Juliana Church, 7201 N. Oketo, Chicago, IL. A private cremation will follow. Mal was a Graduate and Alumnus of St. Patrick H.S. and Loyola University. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Children's Education Fund. Arrangements entrusted to COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME. CDC Guidelines require everyone in attendance at Church, to register upon entering for Contact Tracing.
