I remember Mark as a darling young boy growing up next door in Connecticut and running in and out of my house with my son and his brothers and sisters. Those were the happy times. I wish for Mark eternal peace. He will be missed.

Devistation is the only word that comes close to how I felt when I heard the news, and yet that doesn't begin to cover it. We were kindred spirits in different genres. As he archived local jazz concerts, I archive indiepop and indierock. Our worlds would occasionally come together, but moreso when we met twenty years ago. Although we saw each other infrequently in the last few years, his absence will leave a huge hole in my life. I miss knowing that he's there, that he will be there. I miss him terribly.
