(Cathy) Hill of Ingleside, IL, Barbara (Harold) DeHoff of Albuquerque, New Mexico, beloved grandfather of Carrie Sampson, Joseph, Nina and Mandy Hill, and the great grandfather of Jordan Sampson, fond brother of Robert (Mary) Hill of Ocala, FL, and the late Ronald and Richard Hill. Former owner of Major Hill Ins. Agency Fox Lake, IL. Veteran of WWII U.S. Army 106th Infantry Division Battle of the Bulge. Resting Thursday May 6th from 3 to 8 p.m. at the K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lk. Rd., Fox Lake, IL, (The Chapel on the Lake -- 1Bl. west of Rte. 12-1/2 bl. of Grand Ave.) Funeral services 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. You were very instrumental in keeping the 106th Invantry Division Assn., intact & vibrant. For all your hard work on behalf of the 106th, I salute you. We'll miss you at the Milwaukee reunion.

I am very sorry to hear about Major.
After moving to Florida 18 years ago, I've lost touch with many or my friends.
I remember going to work with my sister Fran when she worked for Major when his business was by theater. Major would let me sit at one of the desks and draw on paper.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.
