Lynn Knipp Obituary

Knipp, Lynn I. 67 of Huntley died peacefully February 9, 2015 with her family by her side. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. day at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Algonquin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed National MS Society. Lynn was born May 18, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of LeRoy and Margaret Johnsen. She is survived by her children, Alan (Ann) Knipp, Jr., Lisa (Michael) Barron and Laura (Scott) Weil all of Huntley; she is survived by her grandchildren, Ashley, Cory, Emily, Benjamin, Zackary, Molly, Lyla, Violet and Scarlett; Lynn is also survived by her four brothers, James (Ruth), Stephen, Mark (Bernadette), and Robert Johnsen; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Judith; and her grandson, Jason.
