To my dear friend Al,
There are not words that can express the sadness I feel. I am so sorry that I can not be there with you during this loss. I will remember the time we had on the cruise for our anniversary. I am glad you found Lucy after so many years and that you had the time you had together. I know that she and Marie will watch over you from their heavenly seats. My prayers are with you and the family. Remember we love you.

Uncle Al,
We sure are going to miss Lucy. What a terrific lady she was. Jeff and I will always have the great memory of our trip down to Florida this past December. My biggest memory will be of all the ice cream places we had to stop at so she could have her chocolate cone. We will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and all of Lucy's family. Love, Janet, Jeff, Jamie, Joe and Josh Lehman

To All of Lucy's Children: We are so sorry to hear about Lucy's death. Your Mom was very special to all of us here in Minnesota. Never have we met someone who we could be so comfortable around, so quickly. She was the salt of the earth and we are so glad she was a part of our life. We enjoyed the visits that she and Uncle Al made to Minnesota for various occasions, or sometimes...just for the heck of it! Our kids enjoyed spending time with her and she was so open and giving to them of her time and attention. They really thought she was "cool", which is pretty neat coming from teenagers!
We know how difficult it is to lose a Mother and certainly the days, weeks and months ahead will be challenging for all of you. We will be thinking of you and our Uncle Al during this time but really wanted you to know how much we loved your Mom and how special she was to us.
With love from her Minnesota family,
The Johnsons, The Moegle's, The Lehman's and the Smith-Medina's

Uncle Al - We are so sad about Lucy's death. You sure married a sweetheart. She was someone who all of us warmed up to right away and felt immediately comfortable around. I'm sure you will miss her so much because she was so much fun to be around and very young at heart...just like you. Take care and thank you for bringing Lucy into our lives...we enjoyed her very, very much. Love, Carol, Mike, Ryan, Kayleen and Julianne

Dear Al,
You, Louise, Catherine, Larry, and the entire family have my sincere condolences on the loss of Lucy. As one of the twins earliest friends, when we were classmates at Noyes School in Evanston, I have fond memories of
her, Weezie, Leon Jr, her mother and father.
I'm very happy that I had the chance to get to rekindle memories during the high school reunions during the past few years, and especially to have been at your wedding.
I'm glad you both had lots of fun times traveling and being together since then. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I will miss Lucy and pray she is now at peace.
Love to you all,
Paula Levine Weiner

Oh, Al, I just read this...I am shocked! You have our deepest sympathy. Larry O. asked me the other day if I'd heard from you.
I'll be in touch with you soon. Sending our thoughts and prayers to you and the family. Jack and Nancy Hadley
