Memories Sweet Memories.
Our very first set of Britannica's came from your mom and I still use a dictionary she and Jack gifted my father.
Many many great conversations long into the night, wonderful laughs and wet your pants giggles, warm loving moments are all fondly remembered.
My sister Claire says, Dolly and your Mom went back as far as highschool? For certain college/DePaul/Loyola connection. Can you imagine the double dates? I was in awe and wonder any time that foursome got together, even fifty years later.
Your Mom was a class act. I will carry with me till I am old, the way she could make me feel after asking, "How are you? What are you doing these days?" With an intensity of genuine interest and unabashed encouragement she would leave me feeling like I was someone special. And that in turn made her someone special too. I learned from her, how to be a friend to my friends children.
I share in your sorrow at her passing.

Lu and I went back many years and I will always treasure the good times we shared as she was dating Jack and I was dating his good friend.I sang "Ava Maria" for their wedding and will treasure the memories. We managed to stay in touch for a long time but kinda lost touch over the years. My hearthfelt sympathy to the family . I recall a picture of Darcy and my daughter as little babies , wish I could locate it to send to you. My prayers are with you all. Bev Meley
