You are still and will always be a part of my memories and my heart as you and the Silva family were the most special part of my life! It was an honor to have worked for you.

There are many fond memories working for you. Your kindness, never a cross word a boss everyone envied and I was very lucky to have known you and your beautiful family.

Lou is the reason why I am where I am today. Nobody was willing to give me a chance at the time. He is and will always be my mentor. Joann, Justin, and Bradley, I am so sorry for your loss. He is a great man.

I was just looking at pictures of my mother's memorial service, and smiled when I saw Lou mugging at the camera.

When we met again, after not seeing each other for 20 years or so, it was like we just saw each other yesterday.

He was warm, open, and a real mensch. He made people feel good just being around him.

I am so sorry for your loss, and am glad that I knew Lou.

It is with great sorrow to learn of Lou's passing. He was not just an Uncle, but more like a brother. I have many wonderful memories of our childhood days together. Lou was a kind, caring and gentle soul and a great role model for many. It is hard to understand why people are taken from us before their time. However, we hope you find comfort in knowing his was a life well lived. Although the miles have kept us apart, he will always be a part of us. We will miss his smile, humor and gentle spirit.

Dear Silva Family: I was so so sad to hear about Lou. I did not know him personally, but he was such an inspiration to my mom when she was ill. I am truly grateful to the hope his positive spirit brought to my mom and my guess -- many many others.
