One of the best Officers I ever worked with. He could spot a stolen vehicle better than any other copper.

Nick, was a great guy, who was a true old school, copper. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

In 1970 when I was assigned to the 15th
District. I was assigned to the same watch as "Nik", as he was known in those days. He was a true copper and greeted all rookies as if they were veterans. He treated us all like men and taught us the ways of street. He had a sense for recovering stolen vehicles. It was a true honor to work with a man like him. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family.

My sympathy to the Nekoliczak Family.Met "Nick" through my brother .They both were with CPD. Had some beers on Oliphant st and ended up living across the street from him on Odell for a while. Great guy ,real gentleman. Last saw him at St Juliana years ago. He was using a cane but I lost him in the crowd and did'nt get a chance to talk. Glad he made it home to Greely

I express my condolences to the family and friends of Lou.I first met "Nic" when I joined the CPD in 1978. It was a pleasure working with a "character who had Character". He was a genuinely decent human being.I'll cherish the memories of the good times we shared at watch parties and his unique sense of humor. He was a good man. GOD bless and keep you Lou. Requiescant en pace !
