King, Louis age 96, beloved husband of Esther (nee Gershman), for 56 years, loving father of Susan (Gary Agrest) and Mitchell (Fern) King, adored grandfather of Stephanie (Greg) Budrow, Jeffrey (Michelle) Agrest, Joel, Scott and Alec King, cherished great grandfather of Joshua Agrest, dear uncle of many. Service Thursday, 10 a.m. at the Weinstein Funeral Homes North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette (1 blk. north of Old Orchard). Interment Jewish Waldheim Cemetery, Gate 232, Forest Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Research Society, c/o Glenbrook Hospital, Dept. of Neurology, Suite B110, 2100 Pfingsten Rd., Glenview, IL, 60026. Mitchell et al:
I never had the opportunity to meet this great guy, but felt that I had known him all my life through the wonderful stories of Lou that Mitchell shared with me. If the kindness, sense of honor, and respect for other people that Mitch displays is any reflection on Louis, he died a proud man.
