My heart sank when I heard the bad news. We stayed on the N dock for the air show this year and had a blast with everyone. The N dock will never be the same without Louis Im so sorry to hear about Louis.

Tracey - I am very sadden for your loss of your soul mate. I know what Louis and you had and that was true love and quoted straight from Louis "It just works for us". I love the devotion and love both of you had for each other. I got to know Louis pretty good. I will miss his honesty & energy. May he rest in peace and let the healing begin for you. In my thoughts always......

Louis, you quickly made a positive impression on my husband and me with your warm personality...maybe it was our common love for the water, sun and island living we shared.
Similar to Sean and Robin, we met him two brief times as dock neighbors and took and instant liking to him.

My deepest sympathy to Tracey and Lewis' family and friends. Chicagos lakefront will never be the same. I have many great memories talking with Lewis about his great loves; Tracey, trading, boating and Jimmy Buffett.

Rest in Peace Louie

We had a brief but great and very memorable time meeting Louis and Tracey this past summer. We were transient boaters from St. Joseph, MI during the air show. Louis spent much time helping us out, teaching us the ropes about the marina and sharing some frozen drinks with some great talk. He also showed us the cabin of his boat which he had redone; it was awesome and you could tell he was very happy and proud of it. We have been talking about the new friends we made at N dock at Burnham Harbor with our friends. Louis is quite a remarkable and genuine person to make such a lasting impression on us in only 4 days. Tracey and family....we are so sorry to hear of Louis's passing. It's always so hard to understand why such good people's time is cut short; but we wanted to reach out and touch your hearts in this time just as Louis did in our short stay there.
