Louis Gerni Obituary

April 23, 2007 Louis Gerni, 72, a native of Syracuse, and a graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy, died Monday morning in the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. He married Diana Ives September 1, 1956 in the First Baptist Church in Syracuse. They moved to Henderson in 1976 and operated the Pine Barn Restaurant on Route 3. Mrs. Gerni died September 2, 1994. He is survived by four sons, Kenneth of Mannsville, James and Scott both of Watertown, and Michael of Pulaski; a sister, Sue Gerni of Syracuse; and four grandchildren. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Belleville. There will be no calling hours.
